Global Thinkers Mentors 2016
The Global Thinkers Mentors platform is part of the Global Thinkers Forum women empowerment and youth development goals. The aim is to add value to young people’s lives through their individual interaction with inspiring people, willing to guide them and advise them on issues of career and life. It is also about bridging the gap between the current and future leaders of the world. It is about bringing about positive change in the world by nurturing the next generation of leaders and let youth shine.
Our mentors are individuals who have a very successful track record in fields such as: Governance & Public Policy, Accountable Leadership, Business, Entrepreneurship, Media, Innovation, Technology, Academia.
In 2016, GTF paired 14 mentors with 14 mentees, that represented nine countries and four continents. GTF mentees were provided with a personalized development opportunity to address individual learning needs. This opportunity helped them over a period of eleven months to develop new skills and expertise, and to enhance, enrich and expand their professional and personal perspectives. GTF mentors helped mentees also with confidence-building in dealing with challenges and issues. They also assisted with advice on career development and personal growth as well as their networking opportunities.
