Maktabee seeks to address the problem of low quality Arabic children’s books, targeting children ages 6-12. We are currently developing a multi-player online game, based on an Arabic children’s bookstore, to fully engage the bright minds of Arab children while digitally immersing them in their own native tongue.


Maha Khatib is a mother of six with a passion for educational games and game-based learning methods. She is the founder of Maktabee, an educational gaming company solving the problem of low Arabic content available for Arab children ages 6-12 years.

Lamia Tabbaa–Bibi has years of experience in various media; She started her career as a news anchor and reporter for Jordan Television and after receiving her postgraduate degree, was Content Manager for as well as freelanced for BBC. Since Co-founding LTM in 2005, Lamia has been behind the Business and Content development of all LTM products. Lamia has BSc from LSE in 1995 & MSc in Media Studies at the New School of Social Research in New York.


Ekeif is a video content website and mobile application whose mission is to develop the largest high quality “how to” video database, catering to Arabs around the world for free!

Zaytouneh is a video production company specializing in the production of short tutorial cooking videos for digital media. The videos show only the chef’s hands preparing the meal to facilitate the videos’ dubbing in multiple Arabic dialects and languages.


Fida Taher is the founder & CEO of, prior to Zaytouneh, Fida worked in different areas in the media domain for 10 years, during which she produced hundreds of hours of video content. Coming from a production background, Fida strongly believes in the power and potential of the audio-visual content.

Randa Jazaeri, COO of, managing the daily operation and production workflow, is an experienced marketing professional with strong knowledge of the local and some of the regional markets as a result of working in both Amman and Dubai, for over 10 years in various fields.


Gallery Al Sharq is an online platform that sells oriental media services (images, sound effects, videos) meeting the specific needs of various audiences from advertising agencies to individuals in the MENA region.


Riham Mahafzah isan Architecture graduate with 13 years experience as Creative Director in the Advertising; a filed that granted the opportunity to exercise her creative capabilities to the maximum. In 2011, in demonstration of her entrepreneurial spirit, Riham embarked on an ambitious project to start her own business. She built and supervised this project from white-boarding, to planning, and reviewing each action and step in the workflow. She wanted Gallery AlSharq to become the go-to source for quality and authentic Middle Eastern stock photography.


Feesheh is the first online music store in the Middle East region, offering a wide variety of musical instruments and products all at competitive prices.


Nur Alfayez, Co-Founder & CEO of, the first online store and brand for musical instruments in MENA. Nur has a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from the University of Jordan and had worked at the Center for the Study of the Built Environment for 4 years as the CSBE Omrania Award Manager. Nur a vocalist, she studied the violin at the National Conservatory of Music in Jordan and sang in its choir.
