Vuyelwa Matiwane has studied Administration of International Relations at the University of Pretoria.

She is a sports enthusiast. She loves playing netball and watching soccer with her dad and younger brother. Vuyelwa started playing sports from a young age, she played netball, cricket and tennis. Sports helped her to become a confident, hard-working and creative young lady.

She enjoys reading, writing and watching a lot of series. Leadership to her means being able to stand out and address issues that are affecting young black people in her community. She believes that young people should be given an opportunity to create for themselves a better life through sports, entrepreneurship and academics.

Her favourite scripture is from the book of Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans that I have for you, says the Lord, plans for peace and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope”.
