After 30 years with corporate giants like Procter & Gamble and Gillette, Saad Khan took early retirement to pursue his passion in poverty alleviation and helping with the economic development of Pakistan. Since 2014, Saad gives his full time to his two passions - alleviating poverty through social work, on boards of a dozen NGO and an impact investment firm, while on the economic development front I work on strengthening the ecosystems for Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Public Interest.

Saad Khan is the CEO of Alamut Consulting, owns the "Big Thick Burgerz" restaurant chain and is an investor in the first professional karting circuit in Karachi. 

He spent two decades with Procter & Gamble in senior management (CFO, Deputy GM) and seven years as CEO of Gillette Pakistan. Saad is very active in corporate circles and got elected twice as President of American Business Council, the largest single-country business chamber in Pakistan.

He is an active social worker, sitting on the board of over a dozen NGO’s ranging from hospitals, schools, health insurance for poor, solar solution for villages with no transmission, street kids, etc. He is Chairman of Pakistan Innovation Foundation and  President of Public Interest Law Association of Pakistan. He is also the founding board member of South East Asia Leadership Academy as well as a founding member and General Secretary of I Am Karachi Consortium (a movement to reclaim Karachi). 

Saad is published writer with his book “It’s Business, It’s Personal: From Setting a Vision to Delivering it through Organizational Excellence”, published in 2016.

He holds two Bachelor of Engineering degrees and an MBA from The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
