Mukwaya Jonah is commonly known as Jonathan Nalebo because of his entertainment background in the media sector. He has been developing marketing communications in Kampala, Uganda for past 8 years largely with measurable results.
His clients range from media to entertainment celebrities who are striving for breakthrough performances to developing social impact programs to drive inclusive growth&dev’t.
Jonah was born in Bugiri district, Uganda and comes from a family of 11 members with both parents deceased by now.
In 2013 he kicked off his career at MTN Uganda as a customer care agent, from then he managed artistes & organized events, these include Maro, Fille, Nutty Neithan.
In 2015, during his internship he joined Galaxy FM the biggest youth radio in Uganda where he did everything from production, presenting on air to being the manager in charge promotions. Around the same time, he was a part-time manager of a nightspot known as Club Amnesia located in the City Centre.
With Rolex Initiative they have been able to grow from just a food festival to building a community of street food vendors especially youth and women. Rolex Initiative was crowned food event of the year 2019 by Ekkula Tourism Awards.
With 8+ years of experience in, communicating, training and continuing his education, Jonah has transformed thousands of lives through marketing and expertise knowledge.
