Yolanda is the founding Director and CEO of Divaine Growth Solutions, a professional organisation in the energy sector that provides consultancy work and efficient project management services as well as addressing gender inequality challenges.

She has held senior leadership roles at Eskom within power sector and Association of Municipal Electricity Utility. She is an active member of BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) Energy and Green Economy Working Group, she also holds executive positions in various Gender Advocacy, Education, Socio-Economic Growth drive within the continent.

She sits in different boards and advisory positions including African Utility Week, Power-Gen – Africa, INITIATE Africa and Association of Municipal Electricity Utility – Women in Electricity. She is passionate about Economic Development, Leadership, Governance and Social developments that are targeted at youth and women. Their current proud project within the gender equality drive in the Power Sector partnering with the  Department of Energy is called The  Woman Power Boss, an  18  months program focusing on empowering females within the power sector incapacitating and creating opportunities for women-owned businesses, as well as Global Businesswomen Evolution (GLOBE) initiative aimed at creating platform for women to trade, learn and connect globally.

Yolanda is breaking boundaries continentally and internationally as a young women business leader with ideas on solving global economic challenges in Africa and beyond.    In 2018 she was chosen as an African Change Maker representing South Africa out 1800 applicants across the continent. She is the Continent Director of Global Brand   Ambassador for United State of  America’s organisation called Pursue Your Purpose which is focusing on women empowerment. She is a member of a Global Women Group, Tropics Summit Ambassador, a Motivational Speaker, a Mentor, distinguished judge.

She holds qualification from UCT Graduate School of Business, she is an Education and Economic Activist, and a pioneer for Women's Advancement globally. She is a multiple award winner with recent award won in 2019 for best women in STEM, she also previously won awards for excellence in the sector and strong drive of women advancement. She has been featured in international and local publications for the work her organisation is doing.
