Anan Magdy Shendy is 28 years old. She is a young ambitious, perseverant Egyptian woman who strived to be successful, independent and effective citizen through dreaming big.
She graduated in Faculty of English Literature and Language at Ain Shams University and pursued her post graduate studies in Applied Linguistics, Media and Journalism, teaching and Assessment methodologies at the AUC.
Though she believes that “knowledge” is power, it is a life-long experience of understanding meanings and taking actions that cannot be limited to a certificate. She practiced these beliefs through facing a lot of obstacles and fighting back stereotypes.
Anan is a university lecturer and a researcher in fields of linguistics and media in many universities and Institutions around Egypt. Also, she is an assessment and testing consultant at the AUC. Besides, she is a public speaking and communication trainer. Recently, Anan has been selected from among 80,000 candidates to join the first round of the presidential Leadership program (PLP) in 2016, Cairo-Egypt.
Her passion is to perfect what she does, learns, teaches, and to help others do the same. The case she is concerned with is to empower the “Egyptian Identity” through women and youth development.
