Angeliki Alexopoulou

Greece

Angeliki Alexopoulou was born in 1986 in Athens to Greek parents, where she also grew up. She is a communication specialist and intercultural trainer, whose career sits at the intersection of culture, education, and international relations.

She holds three academic degrees: a BA in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Athens, an MA in Intercultural Studies from the University of Salzburg and an MSc in International and European Studies from the University of Athens. This layered academic foundation reflects a consistent and passionate commitment to understanding how cultures communicate, cooperate, and connect.

Angeliki's professional journey has taken her across a range of environments — from cultural diplomacy internships at the Hellenic Foundation for Culture in Athens and the Institute for Cultural Diplomacy in Berlin, to international customer service roles, to an Erasmus Young Entrepreneurs placement in Copenhagen (2024), where she developed European funding proposals and built partnerships with international stakeholders. Since 2022, she has worked as a freelance intercultural trainer and DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) facilitator, operating across Greece and Germany.

A registered Adult Trainer at the University of Athens — specialising in the management of cultural and touristic diversity and in mass media and communication — she has continuously invested in her professional development through trainer schools in Barcelona, Kilkis, and Szeged, and is currently pursuing formal qualification as an Adult Trainer through EOPPEP in Greece. She has been an active member of Young SIETAR (Society for Intercultural Education, Training and Research) since 2017.

Fluent in Greek (native), English and German, and with working knowledge of French and Russian, Angeliki brings both the linguistic range and the cultural sensitivity that her work demands. Above all, she is driven by a genuine belief in the power of human connection — across borders, backgrounds, and perspectives.
