Cheikh Tidiane Mbaye, originally from Senegal, is a filmmaker and storyteller by profession. As a passionate about travel, adventure, culture and ethnicity.
Cheikh is better known under the name of "TheNomad" because of his many trips to almost all localities in Senegal, and to the sub-region. Over the past three years, he has used his work to contribute to development and provide solutions to the problems of local communities with which he has worked and lived.
For Cheikh, cinematography and photography are great ways to draw attention to the unique ecosystem in which we live and to show what we humans are doing wrong. Because one thing is clear, nature has always been and will always be there, even if we are no longer, we destroy our own base of life and we must understand it.
His work gives him the opportunity to share this with a large audience, to raise awareness of sustainability problems which is great because it is a way of inspiring people to change their behavior.
