CEO, Injaz
Deema Bibi is the CEO of INJAZ, a Jordanian non-profit organization established in 2001with a mission to inspire and prepare youth to become productive members of the society and accelerate the development of the national economy.
Over the past 14 years, Bibi elevated the work scope of INJAZ through strategic plans to ensure high-impact, continuous growth and sustainability. Bibi’s insight and directives enabled INJAZ to develop and introduce a wide array of relevant programs promoting Financial Literacy, Work Readiness, and Business and Social Entrepreneurship. Under Bibi’s leadership, INJAZ expanded its operations to reach 2 million students all over Jordan, up to date, through a network of over 34,000 qualified volunteers from the business sector, and has recently mainstreamed Financial and entrepreneurship education within the national education system to reach out to every school student across Jordan from grade 7 to 12 through a strategic partnership with the Minister of Education and CBJ.
Bibi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Digital Electronics and MBA, and has 28 years of diverse experience, including working in the private sector, the UN, the public and the social sectors. She is recognized both locally and internationally as a leader and social entrepreneur, with strategic insight that has helped build bridges between the social and the private and public sectors through partnerships that contribute to sustainable development.
Stemming from her firm belief in actively contributing to society, she served on the Greater Amman City Council for the term 2007-2011. She currently serves on a number of national, regional and global boards including, the King Abdullah II Fund for Development (KAFD), Tamweelcom- Jordan Micro Credit Company, University of Jordan Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, RunJordan, AIESEC– Jordan chapter, First Education Holdings,
Generations for Peace, the Global Thinkers Forum and INT@J 1000 Entrepreneur board. She is a founding member of the Arab Foundations Forum and a member of the Eisenhower Global Network Council and Steering Committee. Bibi’s contributions have been honored with prestigious awards, including the NYIT social impact award (2007), the Mosaic Global Social Leadership Award (2008), the Global Thinkers Forum Excellence in Positive Change Award (2012), and The International Alliance for Women World of Difference Award (2012).
Bibi is a lifetime fellow in global networks, including Eisenhower Fellowships (EF), the ASPEN Institute, Synergos, International Women’s Forum (IWF), and is a 2017 graduate fellow of Harvard Advanced Leadership.
