Cameroon
Achare Elvis Ayamba was born in 1994 at Eyanchang village of Cameroon and has dedicated his life’s work to mitigate Environmental and Agricultural problems in Cameroon and beyond.
Ayamba studied Fisheries and Aquatic Ecosystems Management at the Institute of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences of the University of Douala, Cameroon and has obtained additional training in Agricultural entrepreneurship, project writing and management at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA), Cameroon. Ayamba holds a Master’s degree in Fisheries and Aquatic Ecosystems Management from the Institute of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences of the University of Douala in Cameroon. During and after his studies in Fisheries and Aquatic Ecosystems Management, he started working with various environmental agencies such as Meg Wah (My Earth), before founding Environment and Food Foundation (E2F) Cameroon. Ayamba is a Sustainable Ocean Alliance (SOA) Ocean Leader. He is also a Junior Ambassador of United Nations Association Cameroon. Ayamba brings in a wealth of passion and enthusiasm with him, in his efforts to address the plight of the environmental and agricultural problems in Cameroon. He is committed to seeing a society where people have access to sufficient nutritious rich food and lives in harmony with the environment for sustainable development.
