Hannah Lloyd

UK

Born in Birmingham, UK, Hannah's potential was picked up from an early age and she was registered for the National Gifted and Talented Youth Programme (NAGTY). By her late school years, she developed a curiosity for how she could improve the lives of young people through education and employment.

Hannah became a youth leader at her local church where she developed and delivered a teaching curriculum, alongside a programme of activities to broaden their world view. This passion led her into a degree in Law and Criminology (with a year abroad), and on graduation, she interned with her students' union specialising in the international student experience and policy. She currently works at Oxford University Students' Union, where she develops student leaders and brings their ideas to life in relation to education, democracy and practical projects. Outside of her career, she continues these passions for youth, bridging generations, and improving people and communities. Hannah is developing projects to gather wisdom from the last generation and change the narrative around Oxford students. She is part of the Youth Panel of the Museum of Oxford, which focuses on improving youth engagement with the history of their city. She speaks Spanish at an intermediate level.

Hannah’s mentor is Chintal Barot.
