Tim is currently one of the most widely watched presenters on BBC News. Anchoring in the studio and on location Tim presents across all BBC news outlets. He also presents Business Briefing and Dateline London and has covered most of the big breaking news stories of the past 25 years.

Recent work has included presenting live coverage from the G20 in Argentina, Saudi Arabia, World News America from Washington DC, the Catalan crisis from Barcelona, leading the BBC on the ground coverage of major disasters including the Genoa bridge collapse, the Charlie Hebdo and Bataclan shootings in Paris, the crisis in Ukraine, the super typhoon Haiyan from the Philippines, the Arab Spring from Egypt and front line in Libya, the Chilean Miners from the Atacama Desert, the Japanese Tsunami, Iraq and the Euro crisis.

In the studio and in the field he is used to interviewing Prime Ministers and Presidents, leading international politicians and opinion formers.

As a former ITN correspondent and presenter Tim reported widely from the Middle East (Iraq, Israel, Jordan), Africa (including the Rwanda genocide), and 9/11 (New York and Washington). He was also ITV’s Arts and Media correspondent.
