GTF Kampala 2018: African Women as Trailblazers

                                                    Development & Sustainability 

The objective of GTF Kampala 2018 is to profile leading minds in progressive innovation among African women, who work on projects that help achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, while preserving the African culture. 

Specific objectives

This inaugural presence of Global Thinkers Forum in Africa will aim to:

  1. Celebrate the African culture
  2. Highlight the  link between culture and development
  3. Position Uganda through Trade and Tourism
  4. Promote the attainment of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 5, which is "Achieve gender equality and empower women and girls."

The event will have a solutions-based character and will promote success stories of women who are solutions makers, challenge social norms and go against the flow. From First Ladies to Ministers, to Entrepreneurs, Innovators, Academics and Journalists, this Forum will bring together trailblazing women from Africa and all over the world.
