Paschos Mandravelis was born in 1963 in Kozani, Greece. He studied economics at the University of Athens and pursued postgraduate studies at the University of New York “New School for Social Research”.
Since 1982 he is working in Athenian newspapers and magazines. He has authored books about politics, and now he holds a daily column on politics, society and economics in the daily newspaper “Kathimerini”. He is a member of the “Union of Journalists in Daily Newspapers in Athens” (ESHEA), the Economic Chamber of Greece and the Hellenic Society of Economists. He has been a member of the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF), and of the “American Association for the Advancement of Science“.
