Junior Associate, Global Thinkers Forum
Eric is a 22-year-old junior associate at Global Thinkers Forum and a student of the social sciences.
Originally from Boston, MA, Eric has lived in London for 4 years while completing his BA in International Relations with Combined Studies at Richmond, the American International University in London, where he is graduating with honours this summer. He is also an incoming graduate student at the London School of Economics and Political Science for the study of International Development. Eric has a diverse set of interests and compliments his study in the social sciences with a passion for issues of mental health, disability and social justice more broadly. Within this area, Eric holds a minor degree in Psychology, professional experience working in mental health advocacy for the human rights of the mentally ill and disabled, and has worked in the special education setting in both the United States and Mexico. In the future, Eric hopes to combine these interests into a global career of research and practice in the area of global mental health, special education and disability, with a focus on the humanistic, culturally sensitive, inclusive and participatory provision of care.
