Head of Communications – MENA
Global Communications & Public Affairs
Global Thinkers Forum in partnership with Google UAE and Oasis500 are delighted to announce their upcoming Oasis500 Angel Event featuring 6 companies founded by women: ‘ Women, Entrepreneurship & Innovation‘ focusing on young women entrepreneurs in the Middle East and hosted by Google UAE at Dubai Media City. The event will bring together the most promising women entrepreneurs and experienced investors in a joint collaboration and networking effort.
Women’s entrepreneurship is regarded as a key factor for the financial progress and development in the Middle East and in the wider MENA region. Innovation and entrepreneurship open new pathways for brand-new careers for both women and men, in economies that suffer from high rates of unemployment. It is critical that entrepreneurship among young women is nurtured, supported and encouraged.
At GTF we are committed to helping young or/and aspiring entrepreneurs realise their dream by providing them with knowledge on how to transform their idea from a vague concept to a real venture. And how they can grow it and prosper.
1. We encourage the triangle of collaboration between the public sector, the private sector and civil society
2. We create results-driven projects that will attract investment which will benefit all stakeholders
3. We partner with organizations that actively support entrepreneurs
4. We create opportunities and networking events for young entrepreneurs
5. We nurture social entrepreneurship
