Global Thinkers Mentors 2017

Global Thinkers Mentors 2017
As part of the Global Thinkers Mentors platform, GTF has created two programmes ‘Telemachus’ and ‘Athena’, that aim to add value to young people’s lives and also to the lives of women above the age of 30, through their close interaction with thought leaders and inspiring individuals willing to guide them and advise them on issues of career and life.

GTF Mentees are provided with a personalized development opportunity to address individual learning needs. This opportunity will help them over a period of 8 months to develop new skills and expertise, and to enhance, enrich and expand their professional and personal perspectives. GTF Mentors also help mentees with confidence-building in dealing with challenges and issues. They also assist mentees with advice on career development and personal growth as well as their networking opportunities.

Our Mentors are individuals who have a very successful track record in fields such as: Governance & Public Policy, Accountable Leadership, Business, Entrepreneurship, Media, Innovation, Technology, Academia.

The 2017 cycle of our ‘Telemachus’ mentoring programme for Youth launched on January 23. We are excited to welcome 25 mentees from over 20 countries who have been paired with 25 mentors, all of them highly successful professionals with strong commitment towards positive change. From Cameroon to Afghanistan, from Colombia to Finland and from India to Canada, we are proud of the reach of this rapidly-growing Global Thinkers Forum initiative.

The GTF “Athena” International Mentoring Programme for Women over the age of 30 will be launching in March 2017, as part of our commitment to empower women globally! Applications for Mentees are open from February 8 to March 8, 2017 at 12 noon GMT.
