Dr Bolzendahl received her BA from the University of Notre Dame as a first-generation college student and went on to receive her PhD from Indiana University, Bloomington. As a scholar, her research reflects an enduring commitment to addressing critical questions about political and gender inequality through international and interdisciplinary collaborations. Her work demonstrates that we all benefit when women are politically empowered.
