Jassem AlBlooshi has a rich and diverse experience in a variety of sectors through his 25 years’ experience in telecommunications and banking sector.
AlBlooshi spent over 11 years at the Sharjah Islamic Bank as the Head of Electronic Channels, Head of Retail Banking Group and Board Member of the Sharjah Islamic Financial Services, before commencing his current position as Head of Organizational Excellence.
Jassem has been engaged in voluntary work, as a social entrepreneur in his position as Chairman of Sharjah Tatweer Forum (STF) since 2010. STF is a think tank and a public interest foundation, supported by its Honorary Chairman, His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah. The forum empowers youth through a variety of programs, including the Sharjah Leadership Program, which promotes innovation, entrepreneurship and leadership development programs. It also supports socially beneficial enterprises, promotes community initiatives and encourages Public-Private Partnerships (PPP).
In 2016, Jassem AlBlooshi was elected a member of the Sharjah Consultative Council and joined the membership of the Financial, Economic and Industrial Affairs Committee, in addition to his memberships on the Board of Directors of Sharjah Youth and College of Social Sciences (UoS). He is also an entrepreneur and founder of his own company in IT and programming.
Jassem AlBlooshi has over 25 years of practical experience in leadership, management, coaching and mentoring, customer service, call center development and quality evaluation. He is a speaker on topics related to leadership and corporate excellence, Emiratization, youth development, citizens in labor markets and positivity in the UAE community.
