Following her studies, in 2014 she started her design studio based in Istanbul where the cultural richness of the land has been the major motive in her work, developing an interest in ancient craft practices.
Collaborating with local crafts people around villages of Turkey, in 2015, she launched her first flat-weave rug collection, introducing contemporary design approach to the traditional culture of weaving in Anatolia. This inclusive design process calls the power of design in social transformation, drives her to take a responsible position through her design practice.
